On 17-21 June 2019, a 5-day camp for children aged 8 to 12 years old was held at the Elektrum Olympic Centre. During the camp, the children started the day with morning exercises, improved swimming skills, life-saving skills, got acquainted with various sports, and also performed various general developmental physical exercises in the swimming pool.
The lessons were conducted by certified swimming and sports coaches.
The purpose of the camp: to organise high-quality and diverse recreation for children and young people during the summer holidays. By involving children in various sports activities, develop mutual communication skills and interest in a healthy lifestyle, as well as promote understanding of the basics of safe recreation near the water.

The camp was organised with the co-financing of the Education, Culture, and Sports Department of Riga City Council.
