On 28 September, the “Swim Safely” association organised a free swimming lesson under the guidance of certified coaches in the three swimming pools of Elektrum Olympic Centre as part of the European Sports Week #BeActive. The classes were attended by more than 350 visitors – parents with babies from 6 months of age, students, teenagers and adults.
The event was co-financed from the state budget funds in cooperation with the Latvian Sports Federation Council and included in the European Sports Week events schedule.
